Staci Wilken, Converge Conference, Advanced Professionals Panel

Staci is a 2003 graduate of Millikin University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. Her career started in a cubicle punching a timecard and, in the blink of an eye, she’s built a 20ish-year portfolio of experience-based work. Whether that was managing client accounts on the trading floor at the Chicago Board of Trade, creating community events that would nurture the growth of a small town and provide its residents with quality programming, or driving visitor-centric destination development initiatives for a not-for-profit tourism organization, one thing is for certain…experience is now a word that she’s come to incorporate into all her decisions.

In July 2022, she added entrepreneur to her resume launching Experience Edit, a modern-day concierge company specializing in project management, experiences and events. Her team incorporates a Five-Sense Strategy into each and every project, leaving your clients wowed!

She is an active member on the Kankakee Riverfront Society, Inc. Board of Directors where she served as Chair from 2020-2022. Other community involvement includes the Riverside Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors; Riverside Healthcare Heart Ball Planning Committee where she served as Co-Chair in 2018; Illinois Council of Convention & Visitors Bureau Board of Directors where she served as Sports Illinois Liaison in 2019; City of Kankakee Riverfront Implementation Team; Grundy, Livingston, Kankakee Workforce Board Talent Outreach Sub-Committee; City of Kankakee Schuyler Avenue Streetscape Committee; Kankakee County Convention & Visitors Bureau Chicago Bears Hospitality Committee; and in 2014, received the 40 Under Forty recognition by the Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce.

Staci recently sold her home, took a solo cross country #eatpraylove roadtrip and sold (almost) everything she owns at a garage sale. Her son, Cole, is a student athlete at Aurora University excelling in the classroom and on the football field. Their pup, Rizzo, rules the roost. Staci can often be found encouraging the next generation of female leaders and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
