Maureen Powell

Ms. Powell is Site Head of Communications for the CSL Behring Kankakee site and has overall responsibility for internal and external communications and community relations for the Kankakee manufacturing facility.

Maureen has been with CSL since 1994 and prior to being named the Site Head of Communications, held roles of increasing responsibility in Human Resources, including Director, Human Resources. Prior to CSL, Ms. Powell was Controller for CE Software, successor to Powercore Inc.

Ms. Powell earned an associate degree from Kankakee Community College, a Bachelor of Arts degree from Governors State University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Olivet Nazarene University. Her community interests include being a board member for the Kankakee Community College Foundation, the Ascension St. Mary Community Leadership Board, the Economic Alliance of Kankakee County and the Workforce Board of Grundy, Livingston, & Kankakee Counties. She is a former board secretary for the Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce, a former board member of the United Way of Kankakee & Iroquois Counties, Fieldstone Credit Union and former treasurer and board member for the Junior League of Kankakee County and Limestone Little League.

She and her husband, Jeff, have three grown children and two grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading, baking, knitting and crocheting, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
